voco St. David's Cardiff, an IHG Hotel

It’s honestly been a longtime dream of mine to stay at this hotel, ever since I saw it for the first time. I’ve had such a great time here, and my stay couldn’t have been any better! The whole staff was welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The room was even better than I imagined and the view of the bay was just stunning. The spa is very nice as wen, great sauna and multiple pools. The breakfast was amazing too, plenty of variety and again a very beautiful view. I’m so happy I’ve finally managed to stay here and, hopefully, I’ll have the opportunity to come back in the future! I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Everything. Over the last 10 or so years I have visited at least 5 times and it never fails to disappoint. The hotel has received an upgrade since I last came and it’s the same feel, but newer and it’s great! The bedroom was wonderful, and we had a duel aspect room. The best room I’ve had an appreciated as I brought my partner here for the first time for her birthday. We brought our dog with us. Yes there’s a charge of £30, but they provided us with dog bed and bowls and he was very happy. I love that there’s no ‘dog rooms’ either. We ate in the restaurant as it was late when we arrived and the food was expensive but lovely and weren’t in the mood to go out and find something. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Another thing I love is the pool, and the fact that the hotel doesn’t charge residents for use - something which it seems is becoming more regular. Please don’t ever change this.

The spa area is so relaxing but I couldn't help but notice some built-up on the walls by the waterline where the lazy pool is. The gym is very good. I really enjoyed the waterfall area. The staffs are exceptionally good, the breakfast is absolutely delicious, no exaggeration. The rooms are spacious, bed is very comfy. The hotel lobby is spacious and gives a sense of peace. The balcony overlooking the bay, seeing all the boats, ducks and occasional ships is beautiful. The hotel is perfectly located in the path of the rising sun, which you can see from the hotel's restaurant in the morning while having breakfast.

The breakfast was very delicious, along with the kind, generous staff who served us. The room had a balcony with a gorgeous view of Cardiff Bay. It was very clean and the atmosphere was cool. At the reception, there were small shots of exotic refreshments.

I took my wife away for a few days as she is expecting our 1st child and the St Davids hotel was perfect for this. Staff were (mostly) attentive and accommodating as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The facilities were amazing, room was fully stocked and comfortable. Breakfast was superb. The gym and spa facilities were good. The location is central and the views are amazing
